Steve Kerr, helped clinch the Western Conference Finals for the Spurs tonight, sending them to the NBA Finals!!! It was amazing to watch, I was about to give up the game and wait for Saturday’s game 7, but Pop put Kerr in and he really helped turn things around–he shot 4 for 4 3-pointers along with 2 by Steven Jackson and one by Manu Ginobli to cut the Mavericks lead to nothing and get us the win!

My Brother’s wife just gave birth to a baby girl yesterday (Tues 5/27). Her name is Zira Alejandra, she weighed 7lbs. 7oz. I got to visit them today in the hospital–they live out of town so I wasn’t able to get there yesterday. This is #2 for my brother and we’re all happy for him.

I know this is a little late, but i was disconnected for a few days.

WooHoo! the Spurs finally trounced la Lakers in the playoffs!!! I knew it was going to happen this year, after watching them over the season, I knew they had the players to get passed la Lakers in the playoffs. Pop built this team to dominate them. We have Bruce Bowen, the defensive specialist to shut down Kobe–it also turnes out that he can perform well on the other end of the court as well. Along with additional scoring options to take the pressure off Tim Duncan, namely Manu Ginobli, Steven Jackson and Tony Parker–though Tony started off a little timid, he realized his role and was able to produce and give us the performance we needed to take the series.

Next stop for the Spurs is the IH-35 Shootut against the Dallas Mavericks. I don’t think it will be an easy series, but I predict the Spurs will take it in 6.

Now on to my life…. I’ve finally had the opportunity to work on my portfolio and resume pages and they can be found on the link to the right. I’m still working on getting content together, I’m waiting on some files and neet to shoot some of my pieces. But it should be finished within a few days.
